We had stayed there previously and were really impressed with the upgrades since last visit. The rooms and floor were clean. Bringing the breakfast back was a great touch. I noticed many people using it. Great to have the elevators working. LOL! The only drawback for guest and safety of the guest or the nightly visits by the bear. I personally don't have a problem because we know to stay away and and not engage them or agitate them. We noticed several guests on several occasions trying to see how close they can get to the bear while they were trying to forage in the trash. Frankly, when the habits of bears and people we were frightened. I would hate to have to have DNR come in and remove the bears. It's not their fault. Where we live, we have bare resistant trash cans. The bear literally cannot open them. I know there is a cost, but might be better in the long run to absorb the one time Cost for everyone safety. Another little drawback was when just come in off the parkway to register and park in front, and we noticed several times cars were literally stuck out in the road trying to get in. There is usually ample parking to the right past the office and guess might be encouraged to park there while registering.

We loved staying in the suite. The larger separate upstairs bedroom made our stay seem like we were in a house instead of a hotel. Everything was very clean. The check in and check out process was fast and easy. The hotel reservation clerk was very polite and professional along with other staff members that were very nice as well. There were ample closets and drawers for our clothes. The whirlpool was a nice touch and was clean. The location of the hotel was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was more like the ones that hotels served prior to covid and served lots of different items. The breakfast room had tables and chairs to enjoy your food in a relaxed environment and the breakfast room was also very clean. The elevator was very fast and was very convenient. We did not have time during our stay to use the swimming pool but it looked inviting and also clean. We had a surprise visit from a local bear to our hotel balconies and we thought that was absolutely awesome being able to witness a wild bear so close to us. We definitely will stay again on our next visit.

The location is perfect, 5 min walking to Anakeesta and 6 min to Gatlinburg main street. They also have plenty of parking spaces, but during the seven days that I stayed there I just use my car 2 days because we could do everything in walking distance. I travelled by my family and they reserved connecting rooms for us that was very convenient. The cleanliness of the rooms was okay and the staff was very friendly during all our stay. We are planning to come back on our summer vacations and definitively will reserve the same place because the experience was perfect for us.

Location was fine, place was clean, staff was very nice, breakfast food was great with a variety, Pool was being worked on. They had the big mirror that lights up with a touch and has Bluetooth. It was a nice mirror. Did get to see bears each night. So be careful when going in and out of your rooms at night time. It was exciting to see but just be cautious. You should know where you are and that they (Bears) are there and you are in THEIR SPACE!

We had 2 rooms. They were both nice sized, beds comfortable, nice sitting space out our door, hotel was quiet, free breakfast was good & had a few choices of hot and cold foods(egg, sausage, gravey and biscuits, yogurt, breads, waffles, cereal)staff was pleasant, location for us was great. We don't mind walking to the tasting businesses. The entire main strip is a mile but it doesn't feel like it.
